Trebuchet

What is it:

A trebuchet is a siege engine used in the Middle Ages. It is sometimes called a counterweight trebuchet orcounterpoise trebuchet, to distinguish it from an earlier weapon called the traction trebuchet, which employed pulling men working the mechanism.
