On Fridays lesson, it was a very interesting lesson. We talked about the steps taken to make a car. We also talked about some of the materials you could use such as cardboard, acrylic and this new material called core-flute. Another topic we talked about was circuits and how they operate. I took a photo of this. Here it is:

Today in Design and Technology, Mr Ward explained to us what we would be doing this term for our assessment. It was really interesting. It is about making a remote controlled car. At the end, all of our cars will race to find the fastest car. The winner will get 5 chocolates. Yummy. But overall this task seems that it would be really fun to produce. Mr Ward also showed us the design brief. He also gave us our packet filled with all the pieces except 1 to make our car. Overall I think this task will be one of the best we have had. Although there is theory involved, the car should be a lot of fun. I look forward to it.
